Overview
Our client sells a SaaS (software-as-a-service) subscription-based product to car dealerships all across the world, primarily in the US market, but with a major target base in the UK, UAE, Canada, and Australia as well. SnapCell provides car dealerships the ‘power of video’ to send sales and service videos to their customers for a more ‘human’ and personalised experience, as they believe visualisations helps sell – so do we, as a matter of fact.
SnapCell’s video product offers many features to create and send engaging videos to their customers, where the latter can spin the car around in a 360 degree view, along with live chat through the website and live streaming – allowing people to experience a live showroom without ever setting foot outside their homes.
Our client approached us to build customised graphics for their booth at the upcoming NADA (national automobile dealers association) Expo, which is the largest automobile expo in the world – attracting thousands of car aficionados, dealers, suppliers, and parts manufacturers from around the world. This was the first time our client would have the chance to really ‘shine’ and make a big impression even though they had attended the event before.
Custom graphics were, therefore, required to be displayed on a 1000 sq. ft. booth to help represent SnapCell at the expo. Our client already had the booth dimensions and an outline of the wording required for each respective area, so our team was left to focus entirely on the booth graphic design.

The Work
Our client was very thorough on how they wanted each aspect of the booth graphic design done.
- For instance, they provided a starter for ten on what they believed would work well on each individual part of the booth design.
- They also shared with us a folder with all the designs they had from the previous exhibits.
- In addition, the client wanted us to expand on elements such as Customer Testimonials, ROI statistics, Number of Videos sent from the SnapCell platform, etc. – all of which were cleverly integrated within the design.
- We wanted to come up with customised icons of our own for the job although the client was happy to share their own icons to be integrated with the text.
- Throughout the design, we strictly followed the client’s formatting and branding colours as per their website – e.g. clean and white backgrounds against orange, light grey and a bit of purple here and there, as this is what was used to draw the eye to the various calls-to-actions.
- Our design team got started on crafting a high-resolution logo for SnapCell before anything else.
- Next came the Main Towers design and the Reception Counter Front design.
- We incorporated the product’s slogan at this stage too, with the client liking our initial design concept, and so provided the icons they wanted us to incorporate throughout.
- We took a similar approach for the rest of the booth graphic design – producing designs and mock-ups for one part at a time to get approval. One by one, the client signed off on the designs, whilst providing the appropriate icons for each.
- The client consulted the expo team to ensure that all the design elements were correct, so that they would fit seamlessly on their booth – some adjustments needed to be made to the graphics and text size, which our designers jumped on right away. Some of the images needed to be updated too.
- Towards the closing of the project, our client had further optimisations in mind, namely resizing of some of the graphic elements, which we undertook without any hitches.
- Finally, once the client was happy with all the graphic elements, we resent the artwork in 300 dpi to keep the quality consistent across the entire booth design.
From the icons and the fonts to the individual graphic elements and overall quality, our client was more than pleased with the end result, despite asking for multiple amendments and refinements which our designers took on both as a challenge and a token of appreciation as well!
“I had the icons and graphical elements in mind but wasn’t sure how it would translate to a large booth design for the Expo. London Design Company’ team are a gifted lot which can do produce stunning results even after getting only minimal and somewhat hazy input from me initially.”

The Outcome
SnapCell was one of the most viewed and talked about products, both during and long after the NADA Expo came to an end.
Our client has enjoyed higher sales volumes since then, with more social media popularity than they had anticipated after showcasing the product at the Expo.
“London Design Company’s expertise in booth graphic design is second to none. They know how to use the right tools for the right job and were always prompt when I asked for revisions and amendments. I asked for a lot of those, actually, but they never disappointed. Not once. Everything was according to my expectations, perhaps, a little beyond my expectations.”
