Overview
After having worked with the client on a previous project, we were approached by Capito Ltd. once again to work on a fresh new design – this time, for pop-up banners to take to exhibitions.
Having had a brilliant experience with our team previously, the client was fully confident in our abilities to deliver: an 800mm roller banner and a 3×2 curved pop up stand. We were provided with artwork templates, courtesy of the client’s stand manufacturers, to better understand exactly what the client needed.
The client also provided us with some text to go on both materials and wanted us to add the footer text from the datasheet design we had done for them on the previous project. Following the brand design guidelines provided to us on the last project, we got to work as the canvas had been laid out for us. All we had to do now was put our creative heads together and come up with two unbelievable designs – lovely!

The Work
Since our client is in the bespoke managed IT services and solutions sector, they wanted the design to look somewhat serious and business-like, yet emit positive vibes which proudly say: “You can approach us, we are the guys to work with”.
From the very first iteration, the client wanted the design to have a very ‘clean’ and non-cluttered look. Much to our delight, the design was met with widespread approval after only the first few concepts.
The pop up stand turned out wonderfully but we ran into a bit of a hiccup: the text was going off and around the edges. This was due to the original design and dimensions mock-up sent to us by the client. Still, our team figured it out with ease and resized the design to fit all the text within the front-facing surface of the stand.
The final design, once we adjusted some of the dimensions, was absolutely immaculate, according to the client. Not only did it have the client’s brand colours beautifully laid out across the surface but all the fonts, images and graphics looked pristine – as high-resolution and detailed as possible, making both the pop banner and stand look professional, prominent, and presentable.
Our team tapped into their expertise with Photoshop and Illustrator, which is, in fact, their go-to choice for large banner designs, plus some in-house methods and bespoke tools to add finishing touches here and there.
Large “From the desktop to the cloud” fonts danced effortlessly across the blue background on the curved pop up stand while the 800mm roller banner had the same company slogan but against a backdrop of the client’s key services, their certifications, and a very sharp-looking, futuristic photo to complement our Capito’s area of expertise.
All in all, the project went very smoothly indeed, with the only hiccup being the dimensions resizing for the roller banner. Once we had that sorted out, we were happy to see the ear-to-ear grin on our client’s face – literally – as they congratulated us over a WhatsApp video call on a job well done!
“We were to attend an upcoming trade show and needed a bespoke design fast for a roller banner and pop up stand. We had worked with the Out of Box (now Digital Bee) team on another project not too long ago, and having received an excellent service, felt confident to go ahead with another project.”

The Outcome
Businesses in the IT services sector are always under pressure to showcase their products and services at exhibitions and tradeshows – in a way that truly sets them apart as an industry leader.
Our team already understood the client’s business and general brand design all too well from a previous project, and so, dove right back in with the same enthusiasm and creative flair.
Needless to say, the client’s services were very well-received at the tradeshow, with many prospects who were not even that familiar with bespoke IT services – walking right up to the pop up stand and inquiring – as the design was clearly visible, beckoning people from the other end of the large exhibition hallway!
We’re extremely passionate about all things design, and it clearly shows in the outcome of this project as well. Our client got hundreds of inquiries, both during the exhibition and after, and saw a more than 22% rise in the number of people subscribing for different IT packages – ranging from small startups and SMEs to entrepreneurs, multinationals and large enterprises.
Even though we had the design materials and digital canvas from the previous project, we simply kept that in the background as a reference – and came up with a completely fresh layout and design for this specific project.
From the icons and graphics to the high resolution photo, text and partner logos, everything was “picture perfect” on the day of the exhibition, in our client’s own honest and heartfelt words.
Our team was absolutely honoured to provide the same consistent results, helping to elevate our client’s product, brand and services even higher in an exhibition where competition was nothing short of fierce and relentless.
We’re happy to have been a part of another successful project with Capito Ltd., where our design team outshined themselves, producing a design which was 100% verbatim to our client’s vision and expectations.
“Trying to stand out at an exhibition is a tough act. The team at London Design Company understood this very well and identified with my vision from day one. They knew that the design had to be bold and professional, yet subtle and sophisticated enough to turn heads instantly, even from the very far end of the hallway. They follow instructions with ease, and did not hesitate once from making revisions as and when I needed them. Another thing I want to praise them on is the turnaround time, it’s almost ridiculous how quickly the team produces results, and with unmatched accuracy, meticulous detail, and professionalism. I worked with them before, and this time was no different – brilliant team, transparent communication throughout and so easy to work with. I highly recommend them.”
