Overview
Our client, MindTales, is a UAE-based startup-up, providing business leaders with mental wellbeing tools to create a work culture that’s safer, more engaged, and more productive, as well as to empower their employees and teams.
Based on MindTales’ company values of integrity, curiosity, and courage, we were asked to design and develop a WordPress website, which we enthusiastically undertook with the same level of curiosity, courage, and integrity.
From the individual logos and fonts to the design flow for each web page to the mild and eye-friendly brand colours used throughout, our client was absolutely overjoyed with the outcome. We integrated Google Analytics with the website design and helped our client SEO-optimise each page.
We were also asked to include animations and transitional effects to give the website a high-end and more polished look, which our designers accomplished with ease.
We hosted the site in both the Arabic and English version, as per our client’s requirements. All in all, it was a very rewarding job for us, where our client openly recommended us to other businesses, both in the UAE and beyond.
Our client was very happy with the number of inquiries and general response they got, both from existing customers and new ones, once the new design was uploaded and hosted.
The Work
- Our team started by reviewing the existing website’s code and design elements, to better understand what was lacking and where exactly improvements could be made – apart from the animations and transitional effects, of course, which our client wanted us to implement from the outset.
- Judging by the initial design wireframe that was supplied to our team by the client, we observed how the overall feel of the website comprised a mild purple and green tone against a pure white background – all colours that sit well with corporate wellbeing and wellness, which is our client’s specialty.
- From the initial design concepts that we showed to our client, we knew that it had to resonate immediately with corporate team leaders, CEOs, and wellness teams.
- The playful icons and large quotations throughout the web pages, for example, signifies that MindTales is all about improving wellness and wellbeing at the workplace.
- The green and purple blending in together instills a sense of trust and confidence in the target audience, encouraging them to find out more and see where the corporate wellness journey takes them.
- Workplace stress, job dissatisfaction, burnout, etc. are some of the most common obstacles to employee productivity and business growth in the modern office – and so, our team ensured that the fonts, mild colour tones, and hand-crafted icons as well as illustrations all seamlessly come together to promote a sense of “ease” and “calm”.

The Outcome
The client was very happy to see the final design which our team rolled out – all SEO-optimised, with Google Analytics integrated and translation available for Arabic to English and vice-versa.
Our client also wanted guidance on how to change the text and photos on the website by themselves in future if need be, and our team was more than happy to oblige.
